This Privacy Policy explains how AceterView collects, uses, and shares information when you use the service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address and basic profile data (including via Google sign-in).
- Usage data: pages/actions within the app and basic diagnostics.
- User content: job descriptions, resumes, interview answers, transcripts, and generated guides.
2. How we use information
- Provide and operate the service (sessions, prep guides, and feedback).
- Secure the platform, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve features and user experience.
3. AI processing
To generate prep guides and feedback, AceterView may send relevant parts of your input (such as job descriptions and resume text excerpts) to AI service providers for processing. We aim to minimize and limit what is sent to what is necessary to provide the feature.
4. Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us run the product (e.g., authentication/database hosting, AI processing, and infrastructure). We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We retain your content and generated outputs as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data (see Contact).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
